ABOUTPolaris is a K-12 school in the Poudre School District that partners with the national education reform model of Expeditionary Learning (EL). Their mission is to “develop 21st century learners through rigorous academic course work, high quality adventure experiences, character development, and leadership opportunities.”
For the entire 2016 fall semester, our teaching group developed and taught the art curriculum for a 2nd/3rd grade class at Polaris. Through their art making, our students explored concepts of place and how we connect to the world around us. |
