About MeI was born and raised in Colorado and received my first degree in Civil Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. From there, I hired on with Hensel Phelps, working in construction management. For the next six years, I traveled around the US, lived on both coasts, met my wife, and pursued my outdoor passions. Eventually though, I realized I had no enthusiasm for my work. I discovered my passion for teaching those around me and decided to combine that with my love of art.
